Gallagher and friends raise over $7k completing Miss Muddy race

A group of hardy Gallagher team members, plus friends from a range of other businesses, combined to tackle the 2017 Miss Muddy race in Melbourne on 25 March - raising thousands of dollars for charity in the process.

Along with representatives from insurers CGU and Sura, and HR consultancy Businessary, the Gallagher gang completed a 5km obstacle course, which featured a sea of mud for competitors to battle through.

The team had a goal of raising $5000 for bowel cancer charity the Jodi Lee Foundation, but smashed that target and have so far raised in excess of $7500.

Sarah Lyons, Gallagher's Commercial Broking Managing Director, said: "A personal 'thank you' to everyone who sponsored us -- it means a lot. Every contribution counts and truly makes a difference.

"Another big thanks to my 'Muddy Sistas', who made the day a total blast. Here’s to getting even muddier next year!"

You can still donate to the cause here. You can view a selection of images from the day below.
