Gallagher has signed a three-year partnership with Family Business Australia (FBA) to offer risk management advice and insurance solutions to its members.
FBA represents the interests of the family businesses sector, which makes up an estimated 60-70% of all businesses in Australia. Gallagher, meanwhile, is a family-run global insurance broking and risk management company, founded in 1927. In Australia, Gallagher has a network of 25+ regional and metropolitan branches and more than 120,000 clients - from micro-SMEs to multinational corporations and iconic brands.
As well as a wide range of business and personal insurance and risk management services, Gallagher is offering all FBA members a complimentary, no-obligation insurance review to ensure they have adequate protection for their businesses and livelihoods.
Greg Griffith, CEO of Family Business Australia, said: "We are pleased to announce that Gallagher will join FBA on a three-year agreement as a National Gold Partner.
“Importantly, Gallagher started out as a family company in 1927 and has grown to become a global leader. Gallagher will provide FBA members with an unparalleled commitment to claims advocacy and service excellence to help them achieve their own business growth ambitions."
Roz Shaw, Family Business Client Manager at Gallagher, will serve as a direct point of contact for FBA member enquiries. Having joined Gallagher in mid-2018 from her fourth generation family-run business, and having been an active supporter of FBA for the past 15 years, Shaw is in no doubt that the two organisations perfectly align.
"FBA is a well-known and respected organisation, and one which strongly aligns with Gallagher's history as a family business and our approach to conducting ethical business.
"Family businesses are the backbone of Australian business communities. We're very excited to be supporting the good work the FBA does for the sector and we look forward to being of service to members."
