They came in different styles and colours – including black cardboard – but the mo’s sported by the Gallagher Australia 2018 Movember fundraisers contributed to achieving a grand total of $10,790 for the men’s health cause.
In this 10th year of Gallagher giving, our intrepid mo-growers, led by team captain Mark Hutchison, ran the style gamut from subtle through to the frankly flamboyant, and Michael Leeks’s boys (pictured below) are to be congratulated on their impressive upper lips and attitudes to match.
Fundraising activities included an indulgent treats raffle and a well-attended Melbourne morning tea where temporary moustaches were combined with drinking straws, with Michaela McDonald (pictured with Matthew Aitchison) demonstrating how to rock the mock mo. The combined team’s $5790 effort was topped up by a company donation from Gallagher Chief Executive – Australia Sarah Lyons.

The Movember Foundation uses donated funds to support progress in research and treatment of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
Many of our Movember team are veteran fundraisers who have committed to the cause every year. To them, the new entrants and their supporters, congratulations. We at Gallagher salute you!
