Gallagher has been recognised in the 2018 Forbes ‘World Best Employer’ 2000 listing, the only insurance broker to achieve this distinction.
In its second annual ranking Forbes named Gallagher a best employer in the world based on independent collection and analysis of more than 400,000 anonymous employee reviews representing some of the world’s most iconic brands, in a survey conducted by Statista.
Sarah Lyons, Chief Executive of Gallagher’s Australian broking division shared her thoughts on this recognition: “I’m delighted to see Gallagher recognised by Forbes, particularly as we are the only insurance brokerage ranked globally. That’s something to be incredibly proud of.
“Gallagher is often noted for its ‘family feel’ culture which is in part due to the strong collaboration and teamwork ethic which creates a workplace where talented professionals can thrive and grow.”
Lisbeth Rees, HR Director (Australian & New Zealand) added: “For Gallagher employees and colleagues around the world to independently comment on their positive experience speaks volumes about the great strides we are making to create a culture that resonates within the broking and insurance industry.
“The Gallagher Way is a differentiator for us, and the values penned in 1984 still hold true more than 30 years later, and remains the cornerstone of our workplace culture.” Rees concludes.
Forbes’ Global 2000 ranking sees Gallagher join firms such as Alphabet (Google’s parent company), Microsoft and Apple on the list. Statista uses 360,000 global recommendations to compile the list of the 500 best employers in the world. See the full list here.
