Gallagher Workplace Risk again finalist in 2 industry awards

Gallagher Workplace Risk is once again a finalist for two industry awards in categories the Workplace Risk team won last year: the 2019 icare CASE Awards in New South Wales and the RM Advancer Awards.

“It’s a true testament to all the amazing work our teams are doing in both safety and injury management,” says Gallagher National Head of Workplace Risk Vivienne Toll. “It reiterates the value safety plays in a holistic risk management program and moreover the value Damien Stinson, Geoff Sawers, Paul Myers and Stephen Lewis are creating every day in our regional practices.”

Last year the Victorian team, led by Practice Leader, Workers Compensation, Geoff Sawers and run by Senior Consultant Michael Pirro, won the RM Advancer Awards Workers’ Compensation and Risk Management category and this year the Western Australia team, led by Stephen Lewis and Snr consultant Natasha Drummond-Hay, has been shortlisted as a finalist again.

The insurance industry event, now in its 14th year, recognises the risk management achievements of Vero and GIO brokers, clients and workers’ compensation specialists. The winners of the 2019 RM Advancer Awards will be announced at a gala dinner at Ovolo Hotel in Woolloomooloo in Sydney on 24 October.

This year the NSW team is again a finalist for the icare CASE Awards Excellence in Improving Employer Performance Award – the only true consultant/broker category, Toll notes.

“What an outstanding endorsement to again be highlighted by our industry regulator in such a prestigious environment. I couldn’t be prouder.”

The icare CASE Awards were launched in 2015 to recognise outstanding service delivery in the NSW workers’ compensation insurance industry. The winners will be announced at the CASE Awards 2019 Gala Dinner at the International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour, Sydney, on 7 November.
